Pecinci Hostel

A fairly quiet village about 45 minutes by bus from Belgrade (or about 25 by car). If you intend to arrive by bus from Belgrade, note that Belgrade's main bus station [Autobuska Stanica] has been relocated to Novi Beograd [New Belgrade], on the opposite side of the river if you are in the old city centre. The bus ticket is 640 dinar which is about 5.50 euros, and they accept card or cash. Pecinći village has several small supermarkets, 3 ATMs, and some cafés. There is also a 24-hour police station, so registering your presence as a tourist is quick and easy. It's a farming region, with fields as far as the eye can see. I enjoyed being somewhere outside of the main cities, because it was quieter, calmer and bit more authentic. The family are friendly and reliable and keep the separate hostel/accommodation building clean.
