Grove Heights Shoreditch

Nice newly renovated studio (room 13) in a great location.

There are still renovation works ongoing and one morning the builders went through the corridor and smashed dors at 5h30am. Whereas the studio was newly renovated, the windows were old and unfortunately there is a lot of street noise. I am not supre sensitive to noise but I woke up several times during night due to the street noise. Air conditioning is very noisy and did not cool down much.

Air Con. Air con. AIR CON!!!! You cannot underestimate how greatful we were for the air con this last weekend, God send! Great central location, equidistant to the Norrhern Line and Windrush Line. Perfect for what we needed. Recently refurbished. Double glazed to cut down outside noise.

Common entrance area doesn’t do the suites justice. It is above Simmons bar, and yes you can hear it. But I’m not an overly deep sleeper, and I managed a decent nights sleep with ear plugs in. And it shuts at 2am so could be worse (previously stayed in a place in Camden open til 4am)….if you’re in London for a bit if the night life, you’ll be fine.

Nothing we didn’t like apart from the front door to the building was very dirty and didn’t close properly.

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία. 15 λεπτά με τα πόδια απο τον Liverpool street station και 10 λεπτά από τον Old street station. Καινούργιο διαμέρισμα.

Μέτρια καθαριότητα. Έλλειψη χώρων για τακτοποίηση των πραγμάτων μας. Χρησιμοποιημένα σαμπουάν και χαρτί υγείας. Είχε μόνο 2 πετσέτες για 2 άτομα. Χρειάστηκε να ζητήσουμε έξτρα. Δεν είχε που να κρεμάσουμε τα βρεγμένα.Τις μέρες Πέμπτη (μέχρι τη 1 το βραδυ) και Παρασκευή-Σάββατο (μέχρι τις 2) ακουγοταν πολύ δυνατά η μουσική από το μπαρ που βρίσκεται ακριβώς από κάτω. Τα μαχαιροπήρουνα ήταν χύμα μέσα στα ντουλάπια. Το πρώτο βράδυ την ώρα που κοιμόμασταν κ έβρεχε, άρχιζε να στάζει απ τα σποτάκια της οροφής νερό ακριβώς πάνω στο κρεβάτι μας (την επόμενη μέρα τους πήραμε τηλέφωνο για να διορθώσουν το πρόβλημα και να καθαρίσουν το δωμάτιο) .Πραγματι το πρόβλημα με την διαρροή το διορθώσανε την επόμενη μέρα αλλά η το δωμάτιο δεν καθαρίστηκε και αναγκαστήκαμε να επικοινωνήσουμε ξανά. Καθαρίστηκε μετά από 2 μέρες.
