The apartment had a nice atmosphere, it was furbished and decorated with a good style and it felt very homely. We also had a beautiful view over the surrounding hills and the valley from the balcony. Davide, the host was very nice, at the check-in he explained us everything in detail and offered his help with some useful tips regarding parking in Sestri Levante, etc.

The floor was very dirty upon our arrival: our feet got super dirty in no time, so we had to clean up for ourselves in the first evening. We first tried with the vacuum cleaner, but it overheated almost immediately. It turned out that it was because its dust container and filter hasn't been cleaned for a long time, however, even after taking care of that, it couldn't be switched back on anymore in the same evening, only the next day, so in the end we used a broom and then a mop. It was frustrating to lose time with this, still, we didn't feel comfortable with leaving it just like that, especially with our two little kids, who would climb on the couches and beds with their dirty feet. Nevertheless, apart from the floor, everything else was clean. Also, the AC in the living room was broken. It was dripping, apparently because the previous guests set it for too cold so it iced up. However, even the next day or after that, by when that ice must have melted, it couldn't be turned on as it would start dripping again, so we couldn't use that. It would have come in handy as the weather was very warm, but at least there was a functioning AC in the bedroom. Despite these inconveniences, our overall impression was definitely positive. Lastly, just one fact to mention to future guests, the two bedrooms are separated just by a curtain, not by a door.
