A beautiful holiday home in Headington - 3 bed house

The property was clean. Beds were comfortable. Good WiFi connection.

Property was not ready for the advertised check in time which was supposed to be 3pm. We were asked if we could arrive at 4pm and when we arrived at 4:50pm it was still not ready. We arrived late partly because we were still waiting for confirmation of the property address from the owner which I had asked for 2 days previous to our check in date. This eventually arrived after involving Booking.com but only on the day of check in, making the start to our holiday delayed. Upon arrival, the property was not ready and we had to wait outside while the cleaning from previous guests was finished. We were then shown around the property. There were wet towels hung on the airer which we had to dry ourselves before we could use them and washing up left out in the drainer that we had to put away ourselves. Facilities were lacking in some areas of the kitchen (for example just 2 teaspoons in the cutlery drawer etc). This is advertised as a house that can hold six people! Sharing glasses and cutlery was not ideal. Garden was extremely basic too.
