We spent 2 nights without housekeeping

Very well located. Simple, efficient and clean! Comfortable beds and amenities. The automated window curtains was a great touch giving lovely views of the city and still black out at night. Fast check in/out

* No key card required in the elevator to access guest floors. As a solo traveler, this felt uncomfortable. * Digital room key can be unreliable and occasionally required a trip back to reception. * Limited staff at reception during evenings/nights. * Water bottles are not replenished daily.

Amazing place to stay in LES. Brilliant location, amazing food and restaurants. The comfiest pillows ever. Great hot shower, although the water did go all over the floor. Nice amenities and lovely staff.

Not didn’t like, but thicker towels and more water available would’ve been ideal. It didn’t have room service which would have been the cherry on top.

The location is perfect in the LES. Easy access to subway. The view from our room was absolutely incredible!

The digital key situation is a disaster. I'm all for technology but no one asked for this. We did our pre check in then arrived and were told when the room wasn't ready we'd get a text with our digital key. We get the text to come by the desk to pick up our keys. When we arrive 3 agents are there and no one can get the digital key to populate. We go through a series of creating a code (this code was written on a piece of paper with our names, room #, and the code - a security issue in and of itself). We take the code up to the 12th floor, doesn't work. Try to message and call desk no response. So back down we go, we do this 3 different times. Once while down there we call the desk just to see if phone is being ignored. It is, even with 3 people staffed. Then they say ok lets do a new room. New room assigned, link to digital key still won't populate. Finally, it comes up on my phone but not my husband's phone. Later that day a new agent is able to easily get the link to my husband so we could both access our room. My sister and her husband were also staying. They had a similar experience. The good: Room is big for NYC standards and has amazing view (we paid for the premium corner room). Large two head shower. Bed is comfortable but will say no selection of pillow firmness for the 9 different pillows on the bed. Coffee Bar in lobby, Rooftop bar, and restaurant on site. Great location in the LES. The bad: Hair in the large shower and on bathroom floor. No do not disturb sign but there is a button on the inside of door that we push only to discover ours doesn't light up anything outside. Discovered after house keeping walked in on me changing. Other rooms we see have signs. Ask for one. Never get it. One paper coffee cup in room for two. No other cup options. Frayed bath towels. Bed side lights could be seen from midtown, no dimmer option. No luggage rack or drawers anywhere.
