Location is great. Surrounding many bars and shops

It’s a party hotel. The music from the pool blasts till 4 am and it is SUPER loud inside the room. I had to ask for a room change to a lower floor as it literally felt I was inside a club. The room they changed me to wasn’t as nice and didn’t have soap or body shower

The location was ideal for us, we deliberately did not choose something in the busy areas as we enjoy walking and wanted a slightly quieter location. It was a huge bonus to find we were literally 1 minute walk from the legendary Katz's Deli! I have seen this so many times on You Tube and it was right next to the hotel. We spent a good few dollars in there! The hotel itself is 'quirky' - a selection of interesting scultures and modern art objects spaced around the lobby and public areas. Staff were efficient and friendly. The view from the room - south and east-facing was spectacular! Expansive views of Lower Manhattan, including One Tower and the Brooklyn Bridge. We loved sitting looking at the view, watching the sunrise and having a coffee. The room iteslf was tiny and pretty basic, but clean with a well-stocked minibar. , and having breakfast on the surrounds of the rooftop pool was spectacular!

There is a very famous nightclub (Purple) on the 15th (I think) floor. We had asked for a room on as high a level as possible to be as far from the noise as possible (to be fair, we were aware of this before we booked). Despite this fact, the bass beat from the club cannot be avoided and we certainly did not get a full night's sleep while we were there. So, if sleep is vitally important to you, this is NOT a good choice. It is important to point out that,we were aware of this before we booked. On one night we had a drunken patron banging and yelling on and off for several hours down the corridor. We were already awake due to the Club noise, so wasn't as big an issue as it could have been! We had paid for an inclusive breakfast. Be aware this is simply a 'credit' (I think it was $20). It is enough for a coffee and a croissant. Anything else you need to pay for. However, The coffee and croissant were very good and the service was excellent. We did not use the pool during the day, as it was packed with Instagrammers posing and filming - so if that's your thing - you will love it!
