A nice little unit in a beautiful part of the Catlins, with excellent communication from the owners. The unit was clean, tidy and well presented, and the bathroom and shower were excellent
The kitchen is very small, with a small microwave, two-ring stovetop and the basics, but the BBQ provides a good alternative for cooking. A couple of extra microwave-safe bowls wouldn’t go astray. A note saying there’s no freezer compartment would also have been useful. We discovered this only after buying ice cream, which then embarked on a rapid and irreversible journey towards becoming very yummy soup

New, clean, spacious and well equipped. Has a luxurious feel to it. The extra effort in the kitchenette is appreciated due to the remote location.
The room heater wasn't very effective.
