Noise from bedroom door into hallway, easy to hear people walking through, but perhaps that is just the style of the Queenslander house?

The room size/location.
When we woke up we tried going to the bathroom but the door that lead to the bathroom in the house was locked, we knocked and we couldn’t even get in. It was frustrating as using the toilet is a human necessity which made the stay uncomfortable especially cause there was no public toilets around. In a hotel the main thing that is important is being able to access a toilet, if there was a line up that would be fine but there was straight up no access to the bathroom I couldn’t wait around as I had an appointment.
