Large Studio with Table Mountain View - De Waterkant - Secure Parking

Parking was free and within the building, so very safe. Uber taxis arrive at reception in minutes and it costs only 55 - 85 Rand to get to the V&A Waterfront. When registering, a photo is taken to provide lift access only to the appropriate garage level, room level and reception - no chance of strangers wandering all over the building. There is a Cattle Baron steak restaurant within 50 meters walking which served great food. Many other cafes and restaurants are very close. There is an internal cafe on the ground floor which we used for breakfast. The view from the room is great, night and day. With the windows closed, it was very quiet, being on a high floor. The room is fitted with a large smart TV for Netflix, Youtube, etc. We would certainly stay here again on future visits.

I had a message from the owner of the above property who was concerned about a bed rating of 5/10 for my reservation ref 5215054070. She wanted to know the reason behind the rating so that she could do something about it. I explained that I did not make a bed rating and that it was not displayed as an option for me to comment on. The bed was perfect and deserves a 10/10. The 5 is misleading and I contacted Booking.com to try to get this rectified and upgraded to a 10. They deny receiving my message. I hope that they read this and change the rating of the bed to 10/10. I feel very sorry for the owner who may lose clients due to the error.

Safe and secure. Central location. Nice, quiet, clean apartment with great view. As a solo traveler, it was a great choice.

The water in the shower!! There was a problem the cold water output - it just dribbled out and as I result the shower was scalding hot. I did report it, but no action was taken during my 2 day stay.
