Once inside, our experience was very positive. The villa was very clean, tidy and comfortable. There was a slight smell as if the property had been closed for some time, but after opening the doors and windows for a while and then switching on the air conditioning, everything was perfectly fine. We were also pleasantly surprised to discover that the villa is cleaned every five days, including fresh bed linen and towels. We had not realised that this service was included, and we really appreciated it. A special mention must go to Patricia at reception, who is exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. In fact, all the staff we dealt with at Lumina Villas were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of minor issues with the shower during our stay, and these were dealt with immediately and properly, with a permanent solution rather than just a temporary fix. Excellent service. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The villa was clean and comfortable, the housekeeping service was excellent and, above all, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Our arrival was unfortunately a little stressful. We arrived on Sunday at around 4:00 PM, when the reception was closed, as it is only open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There is 24 hour security, but at that moment the security guard was not at his post. We tried calling, but initially nobody answered the phone. For a while, we genuinely thought we might not be able to access the property. Our only alternative seemed to be contacting Booking.com, where the expected waiting time was more than 20 to 30 minutes. Fortunately, after approximately 20 minutes, Lumina Villas called us back and the security guard arrived shortly afterwards. We suggested a simple improvement: displaying the security guard’s mobile business number at the security office, which is accessible to all arriving guests. This would make out of hours arrivals much less stressful. The only other improvement we suggested concerns the kitchen equipment. We found it a little limited. For example, the forks were quite small and basic items such as kitchen scissors were missing. Nothing major, but a few additional utensils would make the kitchen more practical, particularly for guests staying for a longer period.

Property was clean and well maintained as were the pools no sun-bed wars, lovely gardens around the pool and a small play area for children, toilet at pool was spotless too, Staff were very friendly and helpful.very close to main square and beach

It isn’t about the property or location but there is steep hill to the property so maybe not suitable for people with poor mobility, at the warmest period of the season and used taxi or uber which is very cheap, again the reception staff can assist with this to get you to your destination

Afstand tot het centrum

Veel muggen, geen horen, geen comfortabele meubels. Low budget inrichting. Afvoeren liepen slecht door. Zwembad was niet schoon.
