Nice & handy close by friends house for birthday bbq
The front was muddy , people staying in annex and parking on our drive , also taxis found it difficult to find with post code

Plenty of space for a family of 2 adults and 4 children. Beds were comfortable. Owners are lovely and helpful. Tv, WiFi and heating work well. Private parking right outside the door.
Shower leaked into living room, but informed owners and they sorted it out. Booking.com listing says ‘cottage with separate studio and garden, sleeps 12’, but this isn’t the case. They are 2 separate buildings, a cottage that sleeps 8 and a studio that is rented out separately that sleeps 4. We found out by accidentally scaring someone that was staying in the studio part 🙈 because we didn’t realise somebody else would be in there.

We used the annex, which is essentially a double garage conversion. Very spacious and all the amenities you need (bar a hair dryer).
Everything was clean (fridges are notoriously difficult to get squeaky but the rest was fine). It was comfy and felt like a wee home away from home, we traveled very far and really enjoyed the place to rest our heads and chill out.
We could not figure the shower out, it was either burny burny hot or ice ice baby cold, so we opted for baths instead the second evening, which was just right. The tap in the bathroom needs fixing a tad and the front gardens guttering could of done with being the other side of the wall as the water excess has ruined the front entrance a smidge. Also a back door curtain as opposed to the netting, for when the larger house has guests.
