The Inn at Dupont

The room was very clean and spacious, with a seemingly new bed, furniture, and bathroom. The downstairs area had a small kitchen (which I did not use). There was free cereal and tea, a coffee machine, and bottled water. The staff didn't notify me that I would have access to these, so I didn't eat there! The location is incredible, less than a block from Dupont Circle with lots of restaurants and things close by. They also allowed me to check in early in the morning after I arrived on a redeye, which made me whole stay much more pleasant.

There was no staff onsite, which I was not expecting and found strange since it was not advertised that way. I felt safe but some guests may not feel great entering and leaving the building completely unattended, and you had to call a phone number to get any service. I did not see another person there (staff or guest!) over my entire three day stay. The Inn emailed me a code to enter through the front door and my room. The only issue that I had was that the shower water did not appear to get hot, and when I called, the person said he had been there the day before and it worked and to just keep trying. I took two cold showers. Finally, I realized that the dial was installed backwards so when it was pointing to the hot symbol, it was cold, and vice versa. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

The location was excellent! Close to the metro of DuPont circle and a perfect little walk from the mall!!! The rooms were spacious and luxurious with fireplace and huge bedroom and bathroom :)

I didn’t like the outside spaces like the patio’s and house entrance. It didn’t have a place to relax outdoors. It was not taken care of.

The location is amazing. on the same block as the entrance to the Metro, and close to a few eateries. The room was new and clean.

I know it's not a hotel, but I wish I had the ability to boil water and make tea in my room. But there is a full kitchen on the ground floor which anyone can use (my room was on the 4th floor)
