AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC Downtown

Good location nice area

No easy pull in for car . Only valet parking.

Locatiin great. Near walk to Metro subway and good central. Well appointed and a good a standard as expected

Breakfast too expensive

Easy to find, quiet. Great front desk staff even with late check-in.

The AC Hotel was in a good location, very central to the hot spots in DC and Arlington, VA. The food at the lounge on our arrival day was good. The hotel was very clean.

I didn’t like that upon arrival when asked for water, the receptionist told us there were complementary bottles in our room and when we went upstairs it was two tiny 8oz bottles. I feel like after a long day of travel a full bottle should be complimentary or even to suggest that there was a lemon water dispenser in the side but she did not offer and we didn’t see until we were checking out. Our room was freezing cold and when maintenance was sent up he said he’s come back in 10 mins and never came back. After hours of complaining a space heater was bought up to our room since the climate could not be adjusted. On top of the discomfort of the room being cold, the bed and sheets were hard and uncomfortable. On our second night of our stay we ordered from the AC lounge and our steak was way over cooked and inedible to the point that our jaws were hurting.
