Villa Los Gigantes

Een nieuw, ruim en netjes ingericht appartement met heel wat comfort. Zo zijn er 2 badkamers aanwezig, ingerichte keuken, koffiemachine (superlekkere koffie !), wasmachine, droogkast, vaatwas. Vrij luxueuse afwerking. Het kleine terrasje (met gedeeltelijk zeezicht) maakt het mogelijk om buiten te ontbijten, te lunchen, ... Aanwezigheid van een ondergrondse parkeerplaats (opgepast: moeilijk om te parkeren !) is zeker een pluspunt want bijna nooit vrije parkeerplaatsen in de straat. Het zwembad op het dak hebben we niet kunnen gebruiken omwille van de weersomstandigheden.

Ondanks de nieuwe staat van het appartement, viel ons onmiddellijk een onaangename geur van een afvoer op ("putjesgeur"). Vermoedelijk is bij de aansluiting iets verkeerd gelopen (en ik weet niet hoe ze dit kunnen oplossen). Bij het zwembad waren slechts 2 ligzetels aanwezig en dan nog in erbarmelijke staat...

We got exactly what we were hoping for. The town where the apartments are located is quiet, cozy, and perfect for a family vacation. The apartment itself was very clean, tidy, and comfortable, and it had everything we needed from basic kitchen utensils to a washing machine and dryer. At first, I even wondered why we would need a washing machine, but after visiting the beach our clothes were full of sand and salt, so we ended up using it almost every day. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. There are even two bathrooms one for the kids and one for us which was very convenient. One of the most important things was the private parking space, because parking in the town is really difficult and practically impossible to find. We also had access to a swimming pool that belongs to the apartment building. We only used it once, because when you are so close to the ocean, you mostly want to swim there. I sincerely recommend this place. The host is very kind and helpful. Since we arrived at midnight, snacks and wine were prepared for us, which was a very nice surprise. 10 out of 10!
