We had an amazing stay at Zen Wellness! It exceeded all our expectations and then some.
The accommodation villa-style is unique, elegant, and sparkling clean. The food is delicious farm-to-table fare. It’s a resort but feels calm and private.
Particularly worthy of mention is Madame Nadia who runs the excellent spa treatments, Mr. Farid who ran a sound yoga session than even my sceptical husband enjoyed, and Marvel the customer experience manager who truly lives up to her name. Thank you for a short but perfect stay.

I recently stayed at the Zen Wellness Resort Aswan and had an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The check-in process was seamless, and we were escorted to our room immediately.
Accommodation & Atmosphere
I stayed in the 2 Queen Bedroom Duo Retreat. I utilized one room for sleeping and the other for my luggage, which kept the environment clutter-free and relaxing. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and their natural shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion are genuinely top-notch products.
Dining & Food Logistics
The Healthy Breakfast: The breakfast follows a healthy concept. Don’t expect a standard, heavy 5-star buffet; the focus here is on nutritious, wellness-based meals.
The Dinner Buffet: While breakfast is lean, the dinner menu is fantastic. It offers the wide variety you’d expect from a typical 5-star buffet. It is a paid service, but it is absolutely worth it and highly recommended!
In-Room Dining: Available 24/7 via their internal app. Pro-tip: After placing your order on the app, I suggest calling the restaurant or reception to double-check that it went through.
External Delivery: Please note that Talabat and other outside delivery platforms do not service the resort. You’ll be relying on the hotel’s food, but luckily the 24-hour options are great.
Facilities & Service
The resort is beautifully spread out. Buggies and shuttle vans are provided to take you to the gym, sauna, or restaurant. You just need to call the reception, and they will arrange it immediately. The staff is very attentive and professional.
Wellness: The Jacuzzi, sauna, and gym facilities are free to use.
Money Access: There is a CIB ATM on-site. As a Malaysian traveler using GX Bank, I found the exchange rate here was excellent for my withdrawals.
Final Verdict
I give this resort a full 5-star rating for the great hospitality and peaceful atmosphere. To all the staff, hats off for making this stay so memorable!
