Artstay - Apt San Siro, Near Metro, Carlo Borromeo

We paid the reduced price but from our point of view, this would be the price which represents the accommodation. The good: - the whole apartment is spacious and clean - the kitchen has new furniture - the 2 bedrooms have good matrices, clean sheets, sufficient towels - the kitchen has reasonable amount of utensils and basic cooking needs - the bathrooms have been recently renovated and look very good - there are 2 air conditioning machines, which work very good and are of the most importance day and night

To be improved: - parking - there is no parking at the property, there are suggestions (sent by the owner) for open street parking and parking into a 24/7 parking center nearby, but for the open street parking there weren't any blue parking places available (as they are 3 or 4 around the apartment) and I was not able to find parking machines for issuing tickets. I did not have access to the 24/7 park-place (I arrived there and there was no one, and the barrier would not open) - mosquito nets at every window/door - keeping the instructions for the getting the key in the lock-box even in checkout day. We had some issues putting the keys back in the key-box since we did not memorize the key-box code. Falling into into the same category but without the possibility of improvement: - it was very hot, and the building is probably historical, with no external or internal thermal insulation. The air conditioning needs to be on, starting 10.00 in the morning. For a proper sleep it had to be on until maybe 4.00 or 5.00 in the morning (through the whole night). It has a quiet and a sleep mode, but people need to be able to withstand this prolonged exposure. - The 2 bedrooms are towards the main street. Although not one of most crowded streets, the windows cannot filter the noise good enough. Especially at night: motorcycles, cars, engine noise - unfortunately very loud and very audible even with the windows shut.
