A homely, comfortable and spacious place to stay. Well equipped. Beautifully decorated Our puppy absolutely loved it. There was an enclosed garden round the house with a rill of fresh drinking running though it. As if that wasn’t enough for him, there was a whole field beyond full of wild mint for him to exercise in. A good location for exploring the area, cycling and walking.
I am susceptible to gnat bites.. The garden was a bit bitey.. but all the local wooded and river areas are a bit bitey too. Take repellent!

We loved our stay at La Chaumine & were very sad to leave! It’s a special & charming place with a beautiful pool, private garden & covered terrace, delightfully decorated & spacious gite, & a kind and thoughtful host.
