さくらもり

The house is a very authentic Japanese rural home. It was large and clean, although on first sight, the outside of the home and the yard looks a bit tired and overgrown.. The bathroom was well fitted out with shampoo etc all provided. The kitchen was very well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Plenty of bedding was also provided and futons on the tatami matting made the stay more appealing. The ancient cherry tree and shrine on the property is of interest too.. In all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The door was very difficult to unlock, and we had to enlist the assistance of the host ( who came fairly quickly to our aid). The property was a bit tricky to find and was more out of the way than we were expecting. The drive from Nagano is very steep, narrow and windy, so I wouldn't like to be navigating this in bad weather. Handy hint, bring any supplies with you to avoid an extra trip down the hill.

前日の急な予約だったにもかかわらず、快く温かくお迎えいただけました。宿はまるで田舎の祖母の家に遊びに来たかのような、懐かしく温かい雰囲気を存分に味わえます。子どもたちにとっても、普段は経験できない昔ながらの古民家の造りがとても新鮮だったようで終始大喜びしていました。

玄関の鍵が古いタイプで少し戸惑いました。右側ではなく左側の戸が開く仕組みだったことと、施錠時に「カチッ」とした手応えがないため、きちんと鍵がかかったか少し分かりづらかったです。

昔ながらの立派な欄間や床の間のある、純和風の広々としたお部屋でした。料理をしたかったので、広くて道具が揃っている使い勝手が良い台所も良かったたです。裏庭にある神代桜も見事で、咲いている時にぜひ来てみたいと思いました。オーナーさんも親切です。

玄関の鍵が閉めにくかったことぐらいでしょうか。

とても綺麗に清掃されていて表示もわかりやすかったです。

あえて上げるとしたら、居間の灯油が空っぽだったので玄関に常備してくれてた灯油を入れて暖を取りました。 でも、お客様でお入れくださいと記載があったのであえて上げさせていただきました。
