Solanza Hotel Hacienda

Zijn er maar één nacht gebleven. Zeer dicht bij de luchthaven. Prachtig domein met zeer mooie grote tuin in de rand van de stad.

We found a peaceful garden sanctuary at Solanza Hotel Hacienda, colonial Mexican in spirit and modern in comfort, close to the airport, hotel zone, and the Tren Maya. The spacious main house (where breakfast is served) is impressive with soaring ceilings, flowing fountains, and beautiful tiled floors. The gardens are a tropical oasis with palm, mango, and chicozapote trees surrounding a luxurious terraced pool. As an adults only, it felt like our own quiet sanctuary where we savoured the birdsong each morning and soft music drifting until dusk. Our courtyard-centered room was refreshingly cool and private with a spacious tiled shower and comfortable bed. Eva and Allen are gracious hosts who shared wonderful wine and conversation along with excellent travel advice. We can’t wait to return.

Lovely. Lovely new built boutique hotel rooms on an old family estate. The grounds are exceptional, pool. The original family house has accommodation, dining area and old world tranquillity. A few minutes from the airport but transported back to Mexico before the resort era. Hostess is a sommelier and offers exceptional Mexican wines
