While the accommodation is modern, spacious and clean, there were several problems encountered:-
-Locking the front door from either side is only possible in about 10% of the occasions. This is a problem that Booking.com has known about for some time as it is on the record for this property. It is very bad management by Booking.com that the problem has not been rectified before subsequent tenants are allowed in. It caused us much apprehension and frustration as we had expensive computer equipment with us.
- The other main problem has been the televisions. The main one in the sitting room has periods of freezing and jumping. See The one in the bedroom does not work at all on any of the Freeview channels. We do not have any app or subscription ability so it was useless.
- In general the utilities, equipment etc are complicated to master , EG the towel rail and water heating.
- The hand-basin in the bathroom does not have a plug. If it is meant to be a click-clack mechanism, it has jammed.
- There are no dishes with lids suitable to use in the microwave, just 2 big glass ones with no lids that jam the turntable.
