Trill Cottage

The area was nice and quiet. Good central location for getting out and about. Cottage was ok, but not what booked, however did receive a £500 refund.

Booked 3 bedroomed Trill Cottage for 6 nights, received a phone call 3 hours before my arrival to advise Trill Cottage was not available for my stay. This apparently something the booking agent was aware of until the cleaner went in to clean it ready for us. I was offered an alternative 2 bedroomed cottage for the night, and if we liked it we could have it for the remainder of the stay. The difference between the two cottages was noticeable. Trill Cottage had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a court yard, fridge and freezer we booked it because we had friends visiting but due to the lack of space, they were unable to join us. I did complain and got a refund of £500, which made the stay more pleasant. If you are thinking of going be aware of the tight narrow unkempt lanes, take your time as there are very limited pull ins
