The inside was clean and thankfully the locks worked very well.

Unfortunately this was the most traumatic stay I’ve ever experienced and it’s a long story stick around if you’d like. My friends and I purchased this property for a few nights for a friends birthday thinking it was by the museum it’d be a great stay but check the map before you go places because we didn’t realize it was in third ward. When we got there the driveway was COVERED in trash and the neighbors all around had broken houses across from us was an abandoned RV and so much more. The first thing to happen when we pulled in was a car hit a dog in front of our house and no one picked it up until a few hours later they put the dead dog in our yard. To make it even sadder the dog was with another dog (looked like siblings) and it kept coming back to check on it but he never got back up so it brought a gang of other stray dogs all different breeds and sizes and they kicked up dirt on the dead dog and walked away, eventually the vultures got to it(this happened over a span of a few days).That gave us so much anxiety everytime I blinked I saw the dog getting hit over and over. The back yard unlocks from the outside which was also a bit scary and the back yard was covered in glass and we all got injuries from stepping in it unknowingly. When it was bed time the fire alarm went off for no reason and when I called both numbers provided no one answered until morning but it was fine because we figured out how to turn off the alarms. Then the second day the house was smelling like an awful egg smell and it got so bad later in the day I was getting a headache. I searched up what could be the source and it kept saying to evacuate and it was a natural gas leak so now I’m terrified. We called one of the numbers they said to turn on the washing machine and the smell would go away so we did it like a million times but eventually the smell went away. Everytime we opened the washroom though we all evacuated the building the smell was so horrible.
