A real Houston neighborhood — not a tourist area
• This is a quiet, working-class residential area near Hobby Airport in Southeast Houston — in early-stage redevelopment, not polished or walkable. The home is the destination: fully renovated, well maintained, and set up for groups who plan to spend most of their time out working, at events, or visiting the Medical Center. Guests who want an upscale, walkable, or nightlife-focused area will be better served by a different property — we'd rather you know before booking.
Before check-in, every guest:
• Signs a guest agreement and provides government ID
• Guests with no reviews or a rating under 4 stars also complete ID verification plus a refundable deposit or damage waiver
Parking:
• driveway fits 2 vehicles; free street parking nearby. Keep neighboring driveways clear and don't leave valuables visible in vehicles.
About the pool & gym:
• No pool or gym on-site. Emancipation Park offers a free gym, seasonal pool, and courts — check drive time from this address before visiting, as it's further than our other properties.
Good to know:
• Owner's closet on-site is locked and not guest-accessible
• Houston insects (seasonal, mostly outdoors) are normal here. Professionally treated — message us about anything indoors and we'll handle it free
• Starter supplies cover your first 24–48 hours; replenishment after that is up to you
• Security: smart-lock self check-in; exterior cameras at entry points. Indoor noise monitor reads decibel level only — no audio or video
