Augustines Cottage, Canterbury centre Free Parking

A perfect place to stay! Centrally located yet very quiet. Tastefully decorated, exceptionally well-equipped, clean and extremely comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully provided, making our stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Great location, very well equipped with everything you could need. Comprehensive notes and instruction for every part of the property. We took our dog and the property was ideal with a back garden.

Very steep stairs. We coped fine but I could imagine it could be difficult for some. There are hand rails on both sides of the stairs.

In the centre of town and great parking arrangements in the close by car park !

Cosy and well equipped

My daughter and I loved the space within the cottage. Location to everything was brilliant. Two sawyers pub and Phoebe’s tea rooms on our doorstep. Very quiet area. Very well equipped kitchen. Lovely little welcome treat left for us by Neil and Jo. Neil and Jo also organised parking for us in the Long port car park, which is literally a couple of minutes around the corner. We stayed Friday until Sunday but definitely could have stayed longer. Canterbury Cathedral was definitely worth visiting and we are glad we booked a tour guide in there, so informative. Next time we will book a tour guide to take us around Canterbury and also go punting. We will definitely book again for longer next time.

Nothing, it was lovely and very well kept. A pedal bin in the downstairs loo would be good and also if you are having a shower downstairs, just make sure no one is using the water at the same time in the en-suite upstairs, as the water goes hot and cold. Not criticism, just some friendly advice. My daughter did not use the coffee machine as there was something in the back and she did not know what it was, some kind of bag. Again not a criticism just some advice. Perhaps leave a note explaining what it is, if it is meant to be there.
