Countryside Haven with Olive Groves and Pool

Il Gelso e l'Ulivo is located in the countryside in the municipality of Noto, just 2 km from the beautiful beaches of San Lorenzo and the seaside resort of Marzamemi. It is the perfect solution for groups of friends who want to have a structure entirely at their disposal, but also for families and couples who want to stay in the quiet of the countryside, surrounded by every comfort, but just minutes from the sea and renowned tourist destinations; you can reach Syracuse and the baroque jewels of the Val di Noto in less than an hour. It is a structure composed of two building parts, the country house with two apartments, one on the first floor and one on the upper floor, and the baglio with three apartments. Between the two units there is a large swimming pool with an equipped sun terrace. In the garden of the country house there is a jacuzzi for five people, available to guests of the country house. A large uncovered parking lot at the entrance of the property and a covered parking lot at the baglio can accommodate up to seven cars. The houses are furnished with furniture mainly from antiques or made by local craftsmen. They are furnished with ceramics from Santo Stefano di Camastra and accessories made by Sicilian craftsmen especially for our houses. They are equipped with all appliances and comforts to ensure a pleasant stay. The facilities are powered exclusively by a photovoltaic system and there is a column for charging electric vehicles. In the garden of the Baglio, fruit trees and a small vegetable garden are available to guests who want to enjoy fresh 0-meter products. The structure is surrounded by two acres of newly planted olive trees with typical local varieties (Biancolilla, Moresca and Tonda Iblea). One bedroom apartment of approx. 35 m2 that can accommodate up to 4 people (2 on the sofa bed) consisting of living area (dining and relaxation area), well-equipped country kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, double bedroom, ensuite bathroom, independent air conditioning/heating . A comfortable one/two seater sofa bed in the living area sleeps two more guests. The wooden furniture, many of which are bad antiques, and the Santo Stefano di Camastra ceramics used for the furnishings, the white and blue tones, the natural fabrics and the accessories made by local artisans, nevertheless create a refined and welcoming atmosphere the simplicity of country living that this beautiful home evokes. Outside the house there is an exclusive courtyard of about 25 square meters with a large veranda furnished with table and chairs, sofa and armchairs and a barbecue. The washing machine is in a shed near the parking lot. In the Baglio's garden, seasonal fruits and vegetables are available to guests and near the fenced covered parking lot there is a charging station for electric vehicles. About 20 m along the access road to the Baglio is the large swimming pool (6 x 12 m) with an equipped sun terrace. The community pool will be closed from Thu, Jan 05, 2023 to Sun, May 14, 2023. For groups of friends who wish to share the three apartments of the Baglio, there is the possibility of using tables and chairs in the entrance courtyard to eat together.
