Located on the southern edge of the district of Garmisch, the family-run Haus Alpklang is right in the heart of nature and is an ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday at any time of year. Here you can experience an active, fit holiday, unwind in a cosy atmosphere, refresh your body and soul or take advantage of the cultural offerings in the area. Enjoy a break from everyday life in Werdenfelser Land at the foot of the Wetterstein Mountains with Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze. In 2021, we completely modernised this cosy 2-room apartment on the 2nd floor. Well-equipped attic apartment with the latest technology such as rain sensor-controlled skylights, digital access system, flat-screen SMART TV, free WiFi and air purifier. The spacious living-dining room has a comfortable, fold-out sofa bed for two adults and a flat-screen SMART TV. A cosy children's corner is a great place for our little guests to play and relax. The cosy corner seat with large dining table and pull-out cupboards all under a sloping roof complete the harmonious ambience. The fully covered, west-facing balcony, which is accessible from the living-dining area, offers a stunning and unobstructed view of the meadows on the southern outskirts and the Werdenfelser and Tyrolean mountains. The separate bedroom with double bed and another flat-screen smart TV is the ideal retreat with a feel-good atmosphere. Here you can enjoy the first rays of sunshine on the south-facing balcony. New, fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven and dishwasher. Modern, bright bathroom with rain shower and underfloor heating. Your hosts: Haus Alpklang is a family-run three-generation house. Experience authentic Bavarian hospitality. The host family, Tobias Wurm and Michaela with son Maximilian, as well as senior heads Christiane and Joachim are on-hand at any time for a personal conversation with our guests. Whether it's tips for the next hiking, skiing, mountain biking or cycling tour, we share our favourite activities and insider tips with our guests. We also help with planning trips to regional attractions or cultural events. In the house itself there is the possibility of attending singing bowl events with Christiane, such as singing bowl meditation or singing bowl workshops. Furthermore, singing bowls can be tested individually. Our goal is to make your stay so enjoyable that you'll simply have to come back. We look forward to your visit By taking the Riessersee footpath that leads directly past the house, you can, after a 2-minute walk to the south, reach the waterfall fed from the Riessersee lake above; going north, you can quickly reach the lively town centre of Garmisch. The cross-country ski trail between the Olympic ski stadium and the neighbouring town of Grainau is only 20m from the house.
