Unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ruhig gelegen und dennoch mit kurzen Wegen für Besorgungen, zum Bahnhof oder zum Strand. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war jeweils sehr gut.

Das ich von meiner Seite aus nicht länger bleiben konnte - irgendwann muss man halt wieder nach Hause. :)

Wer entspannen möchte ist hier absolut richtig. Sehr großzügige Unterkunft. Mit zwei eigenen Terrassen, von denen man u.a. asiatische Paradiesvögel, Sittiche, Pfauen und Streifenhörnchen beobachten kann. Fernando macht alles möglich👍 Das Frühstück ist einfach nur grandios. Das dazu gebuchte Abendessen ebenso. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.

What did you like? Everything about this stay was exceptional! At this price point, having the entire unit to ourselves felt like winning the lottery. The property features two beautifully appointed rooms surrounded by multiple verandas and relaxing spaces – imagine having balconies everywhere you turn, each offering a different peaceful view. What struck us most was how this place doesn't feel like a hotel at all – it feels like coming home to your own private retreat. The lush greenery everywhere and the serene paddy field views create such a tranquil atmosphere that we completely changed our plans. We came for just one night but immediately wished we had booked a week! This is the perfect sanctuary for anyone wanting to write, read, design, or simply disconnect from the busy world. The peace and quietness here is unmatched. Being the only guests gave us complete privacy and freedom to enjoy every corner of this beautiful property. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety, and the entire experience left us feeling truly refreshed. If you're looking for a peaceful escape that offers authenticity, comfort, and remarkable value, Meadow View Inn is your answer. We're already planning our return visit – next time for much longer! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a genuine Sri Lankan retreat experience.

Honestly, it's difficult to find any faults with our stay. If I had to mention something, it would be that we didn't discover this place sooner and didn't book for longer! The only real challenge was leaving – we genuinely wanted to extend our stay but had prior commitments. This hidden gem deserves to be better known, yet part of its charm is the peaceful seclusion it currently offers.
