Sea Turtle Villas

Aunque fueron enviando la información por email, las llaves se tenían q recoger en la recepción de otro hotel (supongo q es otro porque nunca lo entendi), se podría explicar q esta villa forma parte de un hotel q se llama diferente o algo similar, tuve q estar dando vueltas hasta q entendimos y encontramos donde se recogían las llaves

Loved the size and decor of the rooms. Air conditioning worked really well; curtains blocked light very well. Pool was small but deep, very clean and great after a swim at the beach. Location was a short walk from the snorkelling beach. Breakfast was limited but great. Very spacious lounge/kitchen area. Great access to shops and restaurants. A real island holiday.

Can hear chickens/call to prayer in the morning if you’re a light sleeper. Water pressure was very low, with little hot water sometimes. ATMs are on the other side of the island so you need to walk or ride as cash is required for a lot of excursions and purchases.

Such a stunning villa, the photos don't do the place justice. The bedrooms were beautiful and I loved the sunken lounge room and stunning pool. Very spacious for our group of 3. The beds were also incredibly comfortable. We rented bikes from Neli homestay opposite the villa for 50,000 IRD per day. The beach out the front of Tipsea Turtle is stunning and we saw turtles there snorkelling from shore. All in all this place is excellent value. Do note that it is a bit of a walk or bike ride down to the southside where a lot of popular bars and restaurants are. You can also take a donkey. It is much quieter up this end however.

The breakfast at the beach each day was lovely (hot cooked breakfast or smoothie bowl with a side of fruit), however having to get vouchers each morning from Tipsea Turtle hostel was a bit annoying. Also it would have been good to have coffee and a kettle at the property, especially considering coffee is not free with breakfast.

The facility was good with fully equiped kitchen and private pool; the architecture was unique and beautiful.

There is no mosquito net or repellents. Our sleep got heavily affected by mosquitoes.
