It was self-catered which helped us keep food costs down, as we bought from local supermarkets, public transport was a 5 minute walk and 15 minutes into the city. The area and property are so beautiful, it was quite peaceful, we had lots of towels, beds were big and comfortable, though one was firm one was soft, and there was a fully kitted out kitchen. Shower was great too, strong pressure.
We did walk it to the city one day, there's a really nice park at the end if you take the pedestrianised highway, (just down the hill from the main gate exit) though it's a 50 minute walk all uphill on the way back lol.
Really well taken care of property and residence, it's in the basement of the house, clean and dry and warm.
We did discover that ants can get in, but there is ant spray in the main cupboard, so that sorted them out.
It would have been nice if the pool and hot tub were open, but it's still quite glacial there at times in Spring so that's fair enough.
You occasionally could hear people or dogs walking on the floorboards above, and us Brits would appreciate some tea bags (lipton yellow label and some milk pouches, if possible please) after arriving late after a delayed flight, but otherwise, nothing to grumble about.

La tranquillité, la propreté, le confort et l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires ont rendu notre séjour particulièrement agréable. Nous avons été tellement enchantés que nous avons même décidé de prolonger notre séjour, tant nous nous sommes sentis privilégiés dans ce lieu.
Les appartements sont décorés avec beaucoup de goût et réalisés avec des matériaux de qualité. La décoration est raffinée et élégante ; on s'y sent comme à la maison. Les chambres sont également bien plus spacieuses que dans la plupart des hôtels.
Rien à signaler, tout était parfait.
