    **We loved this hotel so much! It is beautiful, combining Japanese minimalism with modern comfort. The service is professional and kind. Do not miss this hotel, it is perfect!

    Did not start off great as we waited 2 mins for the free transfer to the hotel. But made up with amazing staff service who send us straight to the ferry terminal to Miyajima and handled our check in luggages. Before dinner we explored the spa/onsen that was kinda weird with swimwear provided. But design was really weird. With a cap looking choice that I could not understand the purpose. Amazing views from spa but location isn't on Miyajima but convenient with free shuttle from ferry terminal. The highlight is their 12 course dinner. It was sooo good. Western breakfast the next morning was great too. There was a strand of hair near our bed so I'll need to deduct a star. The room I selected unfortunately didn't have any views which was disappointing.

    This hotel is so beautiful it feels like walking around a (warm and homely) museum, but that isn’t what sets it apart. What makes it so great, is that EVERY tiny detail of the building, the service and the experience has been so clearly thought through and perfectly executed. The rooms are minimal, comfortable and stunning and have everything you might need, the rooftop onsen is beautiful and looks out over Miyajima, the staff are wonderful, the food is out of this world. Honestly I am a picky, detail-oriented person and I can honestly say I have no notes. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!
