HOTEL FORK & KNIFE Miyajima - Opening in Mar 28th 2026

Staff were very professional and welcoming. Good level of English made things easier. Fantastic breakfasts (didn't try the dinner). Very nice and well-maintained hot and cold pools plus a sauna. Whole place is very well designed and looked after. Room very spacious (for Japan) and comfortable. Hotel itself is fantastic.

Just be aware that the hotel is not on Miyajima Island itself but across the water in Miyajimaguchi (a 10 minute boat ride away) -- I wish this was clearer in the name of the hotel as we took the boat from Hiroshima to Miyajima expecting the hotel to be there. Also be aware that you need to walk 20 minutes or so for the closest food options (not great in the rain) -- there's not much to choose from, and in June at least, most places closed quite early (if they opened at all).

Es un lugar espectacular, empezando por sus colaboradores, una atención al detalle espectacular cada detalle, cada espacio super atendido!

No poderme quedar más tiempo, es un lugar 100% recomendado y si vuelvo a Japón, será de mis primeros lugares en volver!!

Very new hotel, so decor and rooms all clean and fresh, with arty decor. The food was excellent, using local ingredients. The hot water spring was open air on the top floor, with views to Miyajima island. The hotel has a mini bus and will take you to the ferry port or to the train station. Staff were all keen to help and very polite.

The drinks were very expensive. It is quite a steep walk to get to the hotel from the train station, but am sure you could phone hotel and ask them to collect you. It was quiet when we went so not much atmosphere, especially in bar area, but sure that will change as they become busier.

料理がとても美味しく、器にもこだわりが感じられて食事の時間を楽しめました。スタッフの皆さまのおもてなしも素晴らしく、気持ちよく過ごすことができました。オープン間もないホテルということもあり館内は非常に清潔で快適でした。
