Layout of the house was roomy enough for 4-6 people. Nice kitchen area with full-size appliances and eye-catching woodwork details on countertop, shelving and lighting above the sink. Bedrooms had adequate bedding. Unique features such as a corner gas fireplace, small sitting and dressing areas with lighted vanity in back bedroom, and beautiful old wooden staircase leading to upstairs bathrooms. Home was near enough to downtown Ellicottville to walk. Grocery store (Tops) just a block away. Mud room was nice for unloading our vehicle.
Difficulty reaching anyone by phone for check-in details (no one had voicemail set up & I had to call and leave voice and text messages). Traffic noise/large trucks because the home is right on a truck route (Rt 219). Floors didn't appear to be swept/vacuumed prior to our arrival (my husband has allergies). One mattress had a small blood stain on it (mattress covers are inexpensive and a GREAT idea in any rental). Dog poop on the yard.
