The place was relaxing and quiet. The perfect getaway for a week and a half. It was a beautiful drive to buffalo which I had to make the trip for. The house had everything you need. If you bring your pet, Kristie ensures you have everything you need to help them feel welcome. The bed was very comfortable. Kristie was super responsive and helpful on anything we needed. There was the occassional train but the house did mute the sound. The house is close to town. The town has many restaurants to visit and a few music spots. The town comes alive on the weekends for certain!

The home was just a short distance from town, which made everything super convenient! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen was beautiful, and we absolutely loved the fire pit — it made for some great evenings. We had an amazing weekend! Thank you so much!

This house is in a great location to the ski areas and downtown. It was a short walk to the Main Street and less than 2 miles from the ski mountains. The shops downtown are amazing and have something for everyone. The host was exceptional and inviting. She quickly responded to any questions I had. The home was comfortable and cozy for our family. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities was like no other. I thoroughly enjoyed the coffee bar which provided quality coffee and a variety of flavored creamers. Another favorite was the kids bedroom! The kids were entertained on our downtime with the foosball table! A great experience had by all for the long weekend.

Powder Mill did not disappoint! We had a blast over President’s weekend. The home had everything and more! We really appreciated the extra large Brita water filter in the fridge! Powder Mill was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It’s a short walk, on sidewalks, down town! Would definitely stay here again:)

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. I was a perfect winter getaway, The house was very clean and comfy. We loved the proximity to all that Ellicottville offers. Our son enjoyed the video games. It as also great the we were able to bring our dog with us. We will be back.

This was the perfect house for a quick ski trip with the family. It was close enough to town to walk to the shops. The house was clean and had everything we could need for our trip. The kids loved the back bedroom and our dog like watching for deer in the backyard. We can’t wait to come back.

The property is on a corner lot which provides privacy. Very quiet with an expansive back yard. Just a short walk to all the shops & eateries. Overall very inviting with tons of space. Beds were so comfortable with televisions in each of the rooms. Felt safe & secure. Hope to be back soon!

What a fabulous stay! Great directions. The house is both charming (you can tell there a numerous thoughtful upgrades) and cozy. We had such good nights’ sleep. So much attention to detail - great do’s and don’ts, welcome signage, wifi notes in the BRs, thoughtful snacks for us and the doglegs, amazing coffe bar, great local highlights. This was a great house! It was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable, and had everything that we needed. It also had many special touches like phone chargers on the nightstands, coffee and tea bar, personalized welcome sign and snacks, and dog bowls and treats. Kristie was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. We couldn't have ask for a better stay!

The Powder Mill was exactly as described in the listing, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We loved the close proximity to town and how the owners provided everything we could possibly need, plus lots of extras. Ellicottville is such a fun place and has a lot to offer. We can’t wait to come back.

We only came for a short trip but the house had everything we needed, and it was very close to town. Also convenient to Holiday Valley where the kids are doing the adventure course. Clean and super comfortable bedding, cozy blankets, and a very nice coffee bar. Will definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

We loved everything about this house and it's location! The decor is beautiful, the house is very well appointed, and the beds are super comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions and made great recommendations for local restaurants. Check in and check out were straightforward. They even left a good bar of chocolate on the counter and treats for our fur baby (Vinny)!!! The property is gorgeous and in a nice quiet neighborhood. If you're going to Ellicotville, look no further, you just found the BEST place and it is reasonably priced!

We loved staying in this private house just outside the main drag in Ellicottville. The host was quick to respond to all messages. The kids loved the back room. The furnishings were great. Of note was the expanse of mountains and landscape in the back and side of the house that made it feel like a true, exclusive getaway. The only minor downsides were the couch and towels should have been cleaned from the last guest. The microwave is installed very low over the stove making cooking challenging. The shower liquids were in glass bottles which was an issue as they easily slid off from the shelves. The TV and XBox did not work so well while we were there. The minor inconveniences did not outweigh the positives of the house, which was overall a wonderful experience. We will look to book the property again!

The furnishings are solid and comfortable with lovely, cozy accessories including a basket of throw blankets for chilling evenings. The bedding is some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in on my travels. Convenient to town and the grocery store, so eating out and stocking the house with snacks and breakfast items is a breeze. This is a relatively new listing, so I asked about certain kitchen items/appliances before I came and Kristie was very helpful in answering questions and even brought an item I needed for my stay from her home.
