“Two Family Oasis” is a delightful double-storey family and pet-friendly (outside only please) home in Cowes just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs a central hallway provides access to Bedroom 1 (with free-standing drawers), Bedroom 2, a Bathroom (with a bath, shower and toilet), a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) and the Rumpus room (with 44" TV, DVD player and a table tennis table) that leads out to the rear garden. Upstairs the large open plan Dining/Kitchen/Living room (with 55" smart TV, DVD player and a selection of card/board games) that wraps around and flows out to the upstairs Deck. Leading off this area are also Bedroom 3 and 4 (each with BIR), Bedroom 5 plus another Bathroom (with shower over bath) and a separate Toilet.


Outdoor Areas

The large front upstairs Deck (with gas BBQ and a 10-seater table plus some spare chairs) has lovely views of the surrounding trees and overlooks the front yard. There is a small downstairs front Deck with seating for 2. The fully enclosed rear yard (with outdoor hot/cold shower and firepit - no firewood provided) is perfect for children and pets alike (pets to stay outside please). There is a double Carport with parking for 2 cars and space for an additional 4 vehicles (cars and/or boats) in the driveway.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso coffee pod machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge (plus a bar fridge in the storeroom behind the kitchen), dishwasher, a large 900mm gas oven and 5-burner cooktop.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the upstairs Kitchen/Dining/Living room plus 5 additional stand-alone heaters and 5 fans which can be used where required. The home has a firepit in the rear yard (no wood provided).

Bedding Configuration

This home has 10 beds accommodating up to 13 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): Two sets of Single Bunks
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Double bed
Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 5 (Upstairs): One set of Single Bunks and One Single Trundle Bed

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed—and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
