This peaceful, clean, fully equipped, nicely rustic gite is ideally placed for exploring many of the attractions of the Loire around Saumur, not least the chateau at Saumur. In the tranquil village of Varrains, one is only minutes away from the extensive commercial facilities offered by Saumur. The hosts are friendly, welcoming, unobtrusive yet available for advice about their area. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommended. Our thanks to M and Mme Girard.

The host and hostess are very welcoming, knowledgable about the area and pleasant to talk to. The property meets the description provided and is very clean and well maintained. We had a very pleasant time here and would be pleased to return and to recommend the property to our friends and relatives.
