Good location. Well equipped. Comfy bed. Nice hot tub. Great off you were staying with kids... 2 couples was not a great fit.
Smelly like animal pee on the ground floor. No a/c upstairs for 1 bedroom and it was really hot.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home had such a magical feel to it and our whole whānau felt comfortable the moment we arrived. This was a last minute booking for us during a really scary time for our family, and it was such a nice space to have on an occasion like that. The kids especially loved exploring the little themed spaces like the Hagrid Room reading nook and spotting the Lord of the Rings touches throughout the house. The hosts had everything to keep the children entertained too, from books to classic games, puzzles, and so many little things for them to enjoy. Everything was clean, tidy, and well looked after, and most importantly we felt safe and relaxed the entire time. The spa was also a lovely touch and a perfect way to unwind. Craig was fantastic with communication and if we needed anything he was only a text away. We didn’t even end up taking photos because we were so mesmerised by the whole experience and just enjoyed being present in the moment.
Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Our stay was smooth, comfortable and really enjoyable.

The location is great and it’s very private off the street. The interior has a luxe feel and the jacuzzi is top of the line. Such a great place to relax. The owner was so responsive and gave very personal service - we were texting like old friends.
Check in 3pm is probably a little late - the norm is 2pm, but worked out fine on this occasion.
