Location to beaches and other touristy sites.
Individual condo was excellent. Kona Islander Inn needs some improvements such as:
-having a gate to the street that did not close easily or lock (this meant many nonresidents walked through the property)
-lots of trash on the grounds and on steps
-cigarette smoking on decks and on property
-Hot tub did not work during our visit
-Bathrooms in main building locked and no one available to open (for use of pool goers)

Location- close to the airport so not a lot of driving after a long flight and right in Kona next to shops and restaurants. Older building but beautiful garden. My unit was very quiet (but I cannot speak for all other units as this is a big building - it still feels like a little village).
Not enough parking spots for the complex
