Two days of stay at Mango Lantern was absolutely incredible and unforgettable. Its 45 km from Varkala beach. Resort is located right on the banks of Ashtamudi lake and very near to Muroe island. Place is very calm and quiet with lovely garden filled with variety of mango trees and swimming pool. Host especially Mr Indu, the owner of the property, including staff members went above beyond their way to take care of us and felt more like home than a resort. Breakfast lunch and dinner including karimeen fish fry served at the property was so delicious that we never felt the need for a restaurant. Highly recommended place for tourist visitng kollam or enroute Trivandrum or further south. Property also managed to organise tourist boat to visit beautiful Munroe island (must visit).
