Elegant Appartement au cœur de Montmartre

The was modern and very spacious for a Paris appartment.

The appartment had some tatty areas: - The sofa back was completely detached and fell off when you sat on it. - There were multiple light fittings hanging loose from walls and ceilings. They still worked it just looked bad and could have potentially been dangerous. We visited in a very hot period and were told there was a fan in the property but there was not (the host did rectify this promptly after one night stay) The location wasn’t great. Although a short walk to montmarte and well connected to public transportation, the actual area and streets around the appartment were very dirty and clearly a less desirable neighbourhood. There were lots of loud groups of men standing around day and night aswell as ‘working women’ standing on street corners. This didn’t bother us too much as two 6ft+ men but I’m sure not everyone would have felt safe.

The property was large by Paris standards and very comfortable.

There were a couple of small finishing touches that weren’t perfect, poorly fitted light fittings etc but otherwise it was great. It was a little further away from the touristy area of Montmartre, which meant we wouldn’t go out for an evening stroll is the district and got a taxi back when we were out later

Ik heb echt genoten van mijn verblijf hier. De plek was schoon, comfortabel en zag er precies uit zoals op de foto’s. Het inchecken was eenvoudig en de instructies waren gemakkelijk te volgen. De host reageerde ook snel wanneer we een vraag hadden. Al met al is het de prijs zeker waard.
