Villa Zuri at Papa Remo

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Zuri. The villa is beautifully located at the entrance to Papa Remo Village, close to security and within easy walking distance of restaurants, the beach and nearby facilities. There’s a lovely restaurant, padel court and Italian wine bar/restaurant nearby on Jacaranda Road, and Papa Remo Restaurant and the beach are also very easy to get to. The villa itself is spacious, clean, beautifully presented and very comfortable. Everything feels new, the beds and mattresses were exceptionally comfortable, the air-conditioning worked perfectly, and the pool was a huge highlight — large, the perfect temperature, with plenty of loungers and literally just steps from the villa. Jonathan was incredibly helpful, welcoming and always available. He offered us lifts whenever we needed and was genuinely a pleasure to deal with. Stella, the housekeeper, was also lovely — friendly, helpful and very pleasant to have around. She even offered to help us repack our bags before we left, which was very kind and above and beyond.

Only very small things that could make an already lovely villa even better. A few extra hooks for bath towels in the bathrooms and bedrooms would be useful, as well as somewhere near the pool entrance to hang wet beach or pool towels. It could also be a nice touch to offer guests the option of having a few very basic items waiting on arrival, such as yoghurt or biscuits, particularly for guests arriving late and unfamiliar with the area. These were very minor details and did not negatively affect our stay.
