Villa Volandrella - in front of Watamu Beach

Lovely place, but the promise of having the whole villa to yourself is misleading. Only the bedroom was fully private—staff were almost always present in other areas like the kitchen, living room, and garden. We chose this place because we wanted full privacy; If we knew most of the living space isn't so private, a 5-star hotel would’ve made more sense. On the good side, the chef made some good meals on request, but then again, hotel restaurants would take care of that too. I'd still choose a more private apartment or a hotel next time.

Gorgeous villa with lovely furnishings, very comfortable stay, really lovely staff who made the stay so memorable, especially Elyson who also made such lovely food and helped with so much. Thanks to the all the Volandrella team …..

Only thing I found was that one of the bedrooms upstairs has a very very high bed, so I couldn’t use it, most people will find difficult I think

Everything was awesome

The house was extremely dusty

Good location all amenities within walking distance excellent cook & friendly staff, swimming in sea at low tides very pleasant

Many power outages and generator not able to cope with the load. Should have 20l water dispenser and french press for coffee.
