Melby Apartment

The property is at the end of lane, so very quiet and private. And the memory of having a meal with families in the glass room will be the most precious for the travel. The room is very clean and very well equipped. With just a greet in car when we were leaving in the morning, the landlord looks very nice. So the property is just like the way they are.

The space was very comfortable for us, had everything we needed! Was close enough to walk to town, a bit of a hill on the way home but definitely manageable! There was 3 of us but would be totally comfortable for 2 couples with two bathrooms and sitting space! We really enjoyed

Nothing was very great stay

The conservatory was lovely, as was the rest of the property. Well-stocked and fitted.

We really enjoyed our stay at Melby. It was like home away from home. The owner has gone to a lot of trouble to make the property incredibly welcoming and comfortable. We did not want to stay right in the middle of town, so the location was perfect for us. We could still walk to town if we wished, but it was a quiet oasis away from the touristy centre of town. The property boasts a fantastic glass conservatory, which proved to be a favourite with us for lunch or a warm place to sit after returning from a walk or one of our day trips. Fort William is a great place to stay if you want to walk up Ben Nevis, take a wild life cruise or drive to any number of other towns. It is also the place to connect with the Jacobite Steam Train experience.

Only one thing, which may have already been fixed - the front sliding door kept coming off the rail and was extremely difficult to use throughout our stay.
