About this chalet rental
Chalet Noir is nestled in a quiet, private neighborhood, offering a peaceful retreat while still being part of a welcoming community. The cabin is accessed via a well-maintained gravel road for the final 0.7 mile. It sits next to its sister property, Chalet Blanc, and an undeveloped wooded lot. The surrounding area showcases charming rural farm scenery, with open fields, pastures, and rustic landscapes that create a peaceful countryside setting.
The six-bedroom cabin offers roughly 3,200 square feet of professionally designed living space across two levels, making it ideal for larger groups. The main level includes a fully equipped kitchen with a full range of large and small appliances, along with a dining area and place settings for group meals. A warm and comfortable living area with an electric fireplace anchors the space.
A large covered deck at the main level extends the living space outdoors, offering ample picnic table-style seating for open-air dining. From this elevated vantage point, guests can take in sweeping mountain views framed by the surrounding landscape while enjoying the sounds of the river below. It is an unforgettable setting for morning coffee, shared meals, and evening gatherings.
A few steps below, guests enter Chalet Noir’s outdoor entertainment terrace, a spacious retreat perched on a scenic bluff approximately 80 feet above the river. Designed for relaxation and gathering, this area features a private heated plunge/cocktail pool (20' × 8') with wraparound bench seating, a six-person hot tub, lighted pergola, propane fire pit table, ample lounge seating, and an expansive synthetic turf area, creating a resort-style setting with long-range views of the river and surrounding mountains. The gentle sound of the river flowing below adds a calm, natural backdrop to the entire setting. This rare and unique combination of amenities results in one of the most extraordinary outdoor living experiences in the area.
The main level also includes four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. On one side, two king bedrooms share a spacious, master-style bathroom. On the opposite side of the main living area, a queen bedroom and a double-twin bedroom are connected by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, with each of these bedrooms featuring its own private vanity area.
The lower level of Chalet Noir expands the home’s comfort and entertainment options, offering two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom for a total of six bedrooms and 3.5 baths. This floor includes a king bedroom and a bunk room featuring two twin bunk beds (four twin mattresses), both served by a hallway full bath that also serves the entertainment area.
Designed with fun and relaxation in mind, the lower level features a spacious gaming area and gathering space equipped with a large mounted TV, ping pong table, foosball, a record player, and an arcade game. It is the perfect hangout spot for guests of all ages to unwind, play, and enjoy time together.
Beyond the cabin and primary outdoor spaces, guests can follow the steps and trail from the terrace down the bluff to the river. At the base, a riverside platform and small beach area provide direct access for shoreline fishing or quiet enjoyment of the water’s edge. Nearby, a wood-burning fire pit creates a relaxed gathering space for evenings under the stars, just steps from the river.
An on-site EV charger is available for guest convenience, and an enterprise-level Wi-Fi network provides fast, reliable internet throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces.
