Great location and fantastic house for our purpose

The house is situated in a beautiful tranquil estate, overlooking a dam.
We stayed from Sunday 29 March - Sunday 5 April, with the Easter weekend starting on 3 April.
Unfortunately, our peace and tranquility were interrupted by noisy, new construction across the road. This is obviously not the owner’s fault, but somehow i would have appreciated we being told of this when booking… I would thus strongly advise prospective clients to make sure that the building has been completed, and that you can have a quiet break - if that is important to you.
Otherwise, a nice spacious house. Beautiful views. Great beds. A lot to do and see nearby. Enjoyed going for long walks in the Estate. Patience was also very friendly and helpful.
Finally, the house would benefit from the owner doing a walk-thru before new clients are welcomed. Some small, easy, almost costless, fixes will enhance the experience.
