Hydrangea Guest House

Hydrangea Lodge was the most magnificent country estate! Every angle's view was even more magnificent than the next. The rooms were immaculate and all with an en-suite. The kitchen was large and well equipped, and the lounge and dining spaces well set up for a large group. 5 rooms in the main house and 1 room in the private rondavel right by the side door of the property. The outdoor spaces contained immaculate gardens, tennis courts, fire pit, many seating areas scattered throughout the property, kids playground etc. We have recommended to friends based in SA for their weekends away or future events.

Only think would be the mattress in the main bedroom needs turning as the edges sink lower than the middle of the mattress, but its not at all a major issue.

Very spacious, good setting, incredible owner and very helpful friendly staff

electricity kept tripping

The house , the garden the size of the home , and all the amenities

Only a slight mishap the 1st night we were without electricity till early hours of the am

It was so peaceful and relaxing and close to everything

Well maintained and looked after The only issue was the water pressure and to control the hot and cold water in the showers
