Dunas Sea and Sun Alvor

The apartment was exceptionally clean. We also received a welcome pack of fruit juice, wine and some other bits as well as a beautiful signed card. The beds were extremely comfortable and the location was ideal. The wifi, washing machine, fridge, dishwasher and air con were fabulous. The bathroom was also fabulous. We are a family that very much embraces self catering and we love to go to the Intermarche. So its important that the apartment has good kitchen facilities and this one certainly did. This was our 6th stay in Alvor but first time in Dunas. I have 2 kids aged 11 and 14 and we had such a wonderful week at Dunas. Special mention to Santos at the pool who does an exceptional job at getting folk their mattresses and umbrellas and he has a fabulous positive attitude that's infectious. We ate in our usual spots. Shout out to Bruno and Andrea in La Piazza. Shout out to Andrea in 3 Palmeiras and Lionel in the Chill Out Bar. Namaste was exceptional again with Jay and Vishu. Casa De Mare was also amazing and we tried a new spot Salsa Bistro which I have posted a photo below. It was the most exceptional duck I had ever eaten. The host, Vlad, is an absolute gentleman. So massive thanks to Rita for allowing us to use her apartment for a week. I hope we left it as we found it. The value was exceptional given it was high season and we would definitely stay again if it was available. Highest possible marks - 10 Stars, Bernard

Beautiful apartment & impeccably clean. Fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Location was perfect only a few mins walk to town centre & beach. Great communication from property owners. Welcome pack on arrival was very much appreciated & a nice touch.

Apartament w świetnej lokalizacji - blisko morza, sklepów i wszystkiego co potrzebne, niesamowite miejsce do spacerowania drewnianymi pomostami. W apartamencie było nieskazitelnie czysto, wszystkie przybory nowe - nigdy jeszcze nie spotkałam się z taką dbałością o szczegóły. Przepiękna zastawa. Bardzo dobrze funkcjonujący cały kompleks, przy basenie zawsze było więcej leżaków niż gości, panowie z obsługi bardzo dbający o komfort gości. Basen duży z czystą wodą. Polecamy Pizzerię/ Restaurację. Pyszne świeże jedzenie z miłą obsługą. Sklepik z napojami pod nosem, większe zakupy w dyskoncie jakieś 200 m. Największy ukłon jednak należy się Gospodarzom apartamentu, jeszcze nigdy nie spotkaliśmy się z tak miłym powitaniem i troską o gości. Stały i miły kontakt. Mam nadzieję, że niedługo będziemy mieli okazję wrócić do tego niesamowitego miejsca. Szczerze polecamy wszystkim a Gospodarzom życzymy wszystkiego dobrego i samych miłych oraz doceniających ich zaangażowanie gości :)

Great location, really helpful host and great facilities. The apartment was very clean and the owners went the extra mile by gifting a bottle of wine on our arrival. Also they provided essential items that might be easy to forget such as adapter plugs, a first aid kit, spare bulbs for the lights, a nail clippers, washing up liquid, and many other little but helpful items. Anna Rita replied promptly to any queries we had, and checked in several times to make sure we didn't need anything. Would definitely recommend this accommodation for a stay in Alvor
