The “Heimathafen Prora” vacation rental is located in the renovated Granitz building—right in the heart of Block 3 of the historic former KdF resort in Prora. It’s just about 50 meters from Prora’s gorgeous beach and right behind the protective dunes. Popular attractions such as the Ralswiek Open-Air Theater or the Königsstuhl National Park Center are about 22 kilometers away. The well-known town of Binz is about 5 km away and easy to reach. There you’ll find numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops. The apartment’s private beach access leads you directly to the fine-sand Baltic Sea beach in just about 2 to 3 minutes on foot.



Granitz House, Apt. 3.3 Heimathafen with Balcony:

The “Heimathafen Prora” vacation apartment is located on the third floor of Haus Granitz, which you can easily reach by elevator. You’ll find a modern, bright, and child-friendly vacation home with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea and the adjacent pine forest. With approximately 65 m² of living space, the apartment offers plenty of room for up to 2 to 4 adults and 1 toddler up to 3 years old. The open-concept living area is furnished with a cozy couch, a coffee table, a floor lamp, a sideboard, a smart TV with Netflix access, a DVD player, a stereo system, and free Wi-Fi. From here, you can step out onto your furnished balcony (facing north/east) with a parasol. The adjacent, modern kitchenette is equipped with an oven, a ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a blender, a kettle, a toaster, and a comprehensive selection of kitchenware, including children’s tableware. The large dining table rounds out the furnishings. The large bedroom features a comfortable double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) with nightstands and lighting, adjustable slatted frames, a clothes rack, a flat-screen TV, and a spacious closet. The second bedroom features two separate single beds (each 0.90 m x 2.00 m) with nightstands and lighting, adjustable slatted frames, a clothing rack, and a sideboard for your clothes, toys, and storybooks for the little guests. Blackout curtains and insect screens in the bedrooms help ensure a restful night’s sleep. The two bedrooms, the open-concept living area, and the balcony are oriented so that you can enjoy a magnificent view at any time. The en suite bathroom features a walk-in shower, a toilet, a sink with a mirror, a hair dryer, and a towel rack. For added convenience, a washing machine and cleaning supplies are available for free use in the apartment’s storage closet. This is also a convenient place to store your suitcases or, for example, a stroller. For our younger guests, a high chair and a travel crib with a mattress are provided. A maximum of 2 pets with their own sleeping area are welcome guests. A lockable communal bike storage room is available for any bicycles you bring or rent. A parking space (home port) is included and located in the immediate vicinity of Haus Granitz. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 bath towel, 1 small towel) up to 14 days before arrival for an additional fee, or you can bring your own. If you book 2 or more packages, you’ll receive 1 dish towel and 1 shower mat as a one-time bonus.



Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
