About this apartment rental
Sitting peacefully in a prestigious neighbourhood in Central Hollywood, Laurel Avenue is a charming 1920s Spanish-style home that welcomes up to four guests. Though you’ll feel wonderfully secluded in this historic home, the buzz and excitement of West Hollywood and the world-renowned shopping and dining opportunities of Beverly Hills are just a short drive away. Less than ten minutes' drive from the glamorous boutiques, trendy cocktail bars, and vibrant live music venues of the Sunset Strip, this neighbourhood has been the home of many famous faces over the years, including the iconic Lucille Ball. CBS and Paramount Studios are also close by, and Universal Studios can be reached in less than 15 minutes - perfect for families. When you’re ready to escape the thrum of the city, the Runyon Canyon Trails will take you deep into the Hollywood Hills, offering breathtaking vistas across to the Santa Monica Mountains. If the ocean is calling, cruise south to Santa Monica for breezy strolls along its soft sandy beach and hours of light-hearted fun at the iconic pier. Though Laurel Avenue boasts a laid-back, contemporary Californian aesthetic, it has maintained charming period features, like its original fireplace and ceiling mouldings. The homeowner, a writer and producer, has furnished the living room with elegant, low-profile leather seating and a marble accent table, creating a modish spot to unwind with a glass of wine. The spacious white kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need, and there’s a lovely blond wood table in the blue-hued dining room and a dining pergola for relaxed mealtimes. The two bedrooms feel light, airy, and serene, with carefully chosen artisanal furniture and pretty outlooks onto the mature grounds. The primary bedroom offers a king-size bed, and guests of this room can refresh in the home’s stylish bathroom, featuring a large walk-in shower and boutique twin vanity sinks. The second bedroom houses a queen-size bed and has an ensuite bathroom with a tub and an overhead shower. Spend blissfully slow evenings sipping sundowners on the al fresco lounge as supper sizzles on the BBQ. Enjoy a complete sense of privacy while still having effortless access to Hollywood’s top attractions at the delightful Laurel Avenue.
