The Peak View Holmfirth consists of a kitchen with a double oven, electric induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, a dining room, a sitting room with Smart TV, a sunroom with panoramic views, and a utility. The bedrooms include a super-king-size with en-suite, a king-size, a double, and a twin, serviced by a family bathroom and cloakroom. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with lawn and patio furniture, and off-road parking for two cars on a private driveway, as well as additional free parking on the road. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. Sorry, no smoking. 1 well-behaved dog welcome. The Peak View Holmfirth is a superb base for exploring the Peak District and nearby towns. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of 500 GBP.

The village has many traditions including the centuries old Hepworth Feast, which commemorates the end of the Great Plague in Hepworth and is held annually on the last Monday in June. Hepworth along with its nearby neighbour Holmfirth, will be remembered by most as being the home of Compo, Cleggy and Nora Batty, from the long running comedy series 'Last of the Summer Wine', whilst the nearby Colne Valley is home to the fictional 'Skelthwaite' from the successful TV series 'Where the Heart Is'. A lovely area steeped in history where visitors always enjoy the genuine hospitality of a thriving local community.
