Steps from the Lake Edgewater Modern 2BD 2BA

This apartment is the real deal. It is as advertised. The location is perfect, next to trains, grocery, two playgrounds and beach ( closest is five blocks ). But yet there is a parking space for longer trips. Elevator and gym were great! There are restaurants and stores walking distance on Broadway. Inside, the apartment is well appointed and decorated. Full size kitchen, with everything needed for cooking. No separate dining table, but the four stools at the Island worked fine. Bathrooms were nice and modern, and water is hot and good pressure. Washer and dryer on premises made it complete. We will be returning.

The building backs up to the train tracks, which means you can hear the trains. However, the windows block our most of the noise. My wife is a light sleeper, but she was able to sleep fine. There is a Walgreens next door, if you need earplugs!

Beds were very comfortable. Blackout shades. Blender and fully equipped kitchen. Whole Foods around the corner. High security building. Elevator.

The sofa is for teenagers, not for tall people. There are no handrails to get in and out of tub/shower. Both bathrooms had a bath access difficult for limited mobility.
